I came to coaching after spending time in dynamic corporate settings as a CMO, brand story teller and business change consultant. I have managed change from the inside, leading teams through times of rapid growth and transformation. I found that what determined success came down to people – how their values and dreams connected to the goals of the company and the aspirations of the brand.
I believe we don’t have to trade off joy for outsized performance results. Work can be challenging but it shouldn’t be hard. I work with and develop exceptional people to create a virtuous cycle of performance wins that contribute to greater personal fulfillment. Shari Jones brings over twenty-five years of senior business leadership and coaching experience, combining business acuity, intuition, and curiosity – creating a compassionate and concretely strategic approach in guiding leaders and their teams.
Shari has coached executives from a variety of industries including technology, e-commerce, retail, management consulting, entertainment, consumer goods, and the non-profit sector. Shari’s coaching specialties include leadership development, communication, career management, and job search strategies – spanning career visioning, networking strategies, interview skills and offer negotiation. Shari’s business experience includes senior roles in Marketing & Commercial Operations at Stitch Fix, Levi’s, Habitat and XOJET as well as roles in management consulting at Bain & Co. Shari holds a B.A. Honors in Political Science from McGill University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a graduate of The Coaches Training Institute, holds the Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and Professional Certified Coach (ACC) designation from the International Coach Federation.
